Our Baby Girl is 1

Her two favorite gifts, a tutu and cell phone.
How did I get a girly girl????

Good things come it small packages. It's hard to believe she arrived at almost 9 pounds and had to endure hourly blood sugar tests for fear her large size indicated diabetes and a year later she is so little she has yet to double her birth weight. What she lacks in size she makes up for in energy, personality and sheer determination.
Crawling at 4 months, walking at 10 months, dancing anytime she hears music, "yelling" at just about everyone and figuring out how to get anything she decides she needs or wants, she's a powerhouse. So much for our second child being our quiet calm child! Time always flies with kids but with the second kid it seemed to fly twice as fast. I will miss the baby stage (well, not the first few weeks of no sleep) but I can't wait to see her grow up. She's quite the character and will most certainly keep us entertained.
We had her party at the township hall next door, literally next door. Being winter we had to be inside but just didn't have quite enough room. The location was ideal, I didn't have to clean my house! Thank you to all who came and for all her gifts and most of all for all the help this year! You all mean the world to Z and M!
